Middle School Chromebooks
With our new curriculum there is a lot of information and activities available online, the Middle School will have the ability to bring home a school issued chromebook overnight if needed beginning this 2017-18 school year. For the students to be able to bring them home, Northwest Public Schools is requiring the following items:
- All 6th-8th Grade parents and students are REQUIRED to attend a bootcamp in order to learn about the chromebook their child will be issued from the school. There are four available times to attend the bootcamp, Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 7:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. All of the sessions will be held at the Northwest High School auditorium.
- Parent and student must read and complete page 1-3 of the 2017-18 Northwest Public School Chromebook Agreement,
- A $25.00 fee must be paid to Northwest Public Schools. If you are applying for the Free and Reduced Lunch Program waiver, please wait to pay fees until after your application is returned. Your fee, if paid, will not be returned. If you would like to make an online payment to Northwest for the fee, go to e~Funds for Schools website with Northwest Public Schools.
We are strongly encouraging parents to make fee payment and turning in the form prior to attending a bootcamp session.
If you are in question of the K-8 Building’s Office being open prior to you driving to the location, please call prior to your visit.
