Pictured are the 1-R students who participated in Quiz Bowl on Friday, February 1, at Cedar Hollow. Each of the four feeder schools brought two teams to the competition. The 1-R team, Black Ice, came home champions for the second year straight. Members of the winning team were Elliot Schmit, Mike Evans, Justine Schmidt, Colton Short, Evan Wiese and Rachel Jacobsen. 1-R team, Burning Orange, came home with fourth place. Members placing fourth were Nicole Otero, Dylan Krosschell, Mariah Lafrenz, Jasmine Klein, Jacob Byerly and Ashley Scherer. Quiz Bowl alternates were Crystal Hempel, Cara Dixon, Emily Heineman, Kayla Peters and Kelly Bockmann. Congratulations to all participants!
