The Viking Boy's golf team is starting off on a good note. The team that consists of 15 players has had a lot of players place in various meets. The key players on the team are actually the whole team. The senior leaders are Max Luber, Nathan Cox, and Greg Saunders. Mr. Marron says that their toughest competition is Aurora, Adams Central, and Fairbury. Their major tournaments are York, Central Catholic, and the Tri-City Invitationals.

"We've played well, but just want to keep improving." Mr. Marron said. The boys and the weather haven't been getting along very well. As one team member Nathan Cox said, "It's cold! Go home!" The Viking boys have some upcoming meets; one is on Monday, April 14, in Central City at 1:00 pm. The other meet is against one of their toughest teams--Aurora--so come support them on Saturday, April 19, at 9 am.
