The 8th grade class at St. Libory school finished a chapter about energy, the forms it takes, and how it is transformed and conserved. The culminating experience of this chapter was a lesson on building roller coasters. Students worked in groups and designed roller coasters, out of insulated pipe tubing, that used potential and kinetic energy.
