1-R School

1-R Students Excel in State Writing Assessment

1-R School students received high marks on the state writing assessment, which was administered to fourth and eighth grade students throughout the state of Nebraska.

Results revealed that 97 percent of the 1-R students scored at the proficient level and that 70 percent of the 1-R students scored above the state average. One eighth grader, Nicole Otero, received a perfect score. Students receiving a superior rating in the eighth grade were Melanie Griess, Eryn Hemmer, Anna Mendyk, Allison Myers, Nathan Niemoth, and Katie Quandt. In the fourth grade, students who received a superior rating were Isaiah Daws, Breanna Dobesh, Megan Heineman, Walker Johnson, and Audrey Quandt.

Congratulations to the 1-R students and staff for an outstanding performance on the state writing assessment!
