Students Learn Fire Safety
Members of the Grand Island Rural Fire Department brought their "smoke trailer" to 1-R School on Wednesday, October 6, to educate students about fire safety. Each class spent approximately 30 minutes in the trailer learning about fire prevention and ways to stay safe in the event of a fire. Afterwards, students reported learning many valuable lessons from the presentation.
