Student Receives International Recognition
UCT Presents Award
1-R fifth grader, Merriah B., experienced an exceptional start to the school year when she was recognized for the safety poster she created for the Fraternal Order of United Commercial Travelers. Carol Schroeder, representing the organization, was on hand to present the award to Merriah at the beginning-of-the-year assembly on Monday, Aug. 16. Merriah not only won the state competition but also placed third in the international competition. She was awarded with a ribbon and cash prize for her outstanding poster. Congratulations Merriah!
