Attention all K-8 Northwest District Families

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions and DHM’s in place, the decision has been made to cancel all K-8 vocal Christmas concerts at this time. We pursued many avenues trying to find ways to stay within copyright laws and video recordings with public access but have run into many roadblocks. We are deeply saddened by this.  We know our students and music teachers have been working hard to prepare for another winter concert. At this time we are working on plans to have students perform for their classmates in school. 

We will look forward to showcasing students’ talents and sharing them with you at a spring concert set for April or May. Hopefully things will have settled down by then. 

Administratively, we will be meeting to discuss thoughts for our 5th-8th band performance. More information will be shared as we get a clearer picture of options for our band students.  

Again we are deeply saddened but appreciate everyone’s support through these unprecedented times.  We look forward to things returning to normal. We wish you a happy Thanksgiving, please stay safe!
