A February Note from Mr. Mazour

A February Note from Mr. Mazour

Parents and Guardians,

It’s February already!  It seems hard to believe that spring is right around the corner!  I just want to provide some updated information and reminders.

Parking lot – To improve the efficiency of the front parking lot, please move forward when there is an open space in front of you in your particular row.  In addition, when arriving early for pickup, please don’t open the gates or move the cones out.  We ask for your patience with staff to get these items ready for dismissal. Thank you for your cooperation!

Parent Teacher Conferences are being held on Wednesday, February 10, and Thursday, February 11, we will have a noon dismissal and conferences from 2-8 pm each day. We hope you can join us to help share information about your child in order to serve them best.  Please note that K-5 parents have set conference times and 6-8 parents have an open format where parents come and see teachers without appointments.

Valentine’s Parties:  On Thursday, February 11, we will have Valentine’s Parties from 11:30 – 12:00.

Spirit Week will be held March 1-4, 2021.  Students and staff dress up each day and celebrate Dr Seuss’ birthday as well as Cedar Hollow Pride. Specific dress up day info will be posted soon.

Introduction to Kindergarten is Tuesday, April 13, at 8:00 am. If you have a child who is 5 years old on or before July 31, 2016, they are eligible to attend kindergarten. Please call the office to confirm your student’s name is on the list to receive the future communication about Kindergarten.

Lastly, I just want to let you know that we are thankful we are in school, and having fun learning together.  I appreciate all the support you have provided as parents and the way the entire Cedar Hollow family has worked together to allow our students to have the best year possible!
