Congratulations to the Nebraska High School Theatre Academy award winners, including Northwest’s Tarzan and its talented cast and crew. The Nebraska High School Theatre Academy recently released its award winners.  Northwest’s Tarzan was named one of the top twelve Musicals in the state.  In addition, our ensemble was named one of the top twelve in the state.  Caden Keller was named one of the top 10 male actors in a lead role.  Isabella Rivera was named one of the top 10 female actresses in a lead role.  Jaylyn Taylor was named one of the top 10 female actresses in a supporting role for her role as the leopard.  Isabella Rivera, Shalee Noorlander, Caden Keller, and Reese Schultz all received National Callbacks as a part of the top 50 to audition to be a Nebraska Representative and National Finalist for the Jimmy Awards in New York City. Reese Schultz was named one of the seven National Finalists to represent Nebraska at the Jimmy Awards in New York, which is the top award given.

Because of this, Northwest will be one of the featured performances in their awards show at the Orpheum Theatre on June 4, 2023  Reese, Isabella, and Caden will also be featured soloists in the show along with Lorionah Stienike and Emma Vyhlidal performing in the show’s performance ensemble.
