Wow!  April already! It is a very busy time for all I know but want to communicate with you regarding happenings at Cedar Hollow.

Our NSCAS (Nebraska Student-Centered Assessment System) window opened today and our students in grades 3-8 will be taking tests this month to determine progress through the year.  We take our students’ progress very seriously, and I know you do as well, so please take note of the testing dates for your child(ren) and help them prepare with plenty of sleep and a great breakfast, if possible.

Lastly, I want to let you know of staff changes for next year.  We are saying goodbye to wonderful staff members and welcoming some exceptional additions!  Connie Cochnar, Angela Blank, and Jocelyn Glenn will be leaving Cedar Hollow.  To fill Connie’s place as she is retiring as one of our elementary special education teachers, KImberly Terry will take Connie’s place in that role.

The additions we are thrilled to have added to our Cedar Hollow family are:  Molly Nicol (Kindergarten for Mrs. Terry), Danielle Sloan (2nd grade), and Amber Clausen (middle school math).  Mrs. Nicol and Mrs. Clausen both come to us from GIPS and Mrs. Sloan comes to us from Centura Public Schools.  Welcome to all!
